ISRC is in the phase of creating a world class embedded development facility at Pune, which includes state of the art laboratory equipped with various Development Tools & IDEs, test equipments like high end Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Debuggers, Simulators etc. The technical manpower is trained overseas & within India periodically to keep abreast of latest technologies & trends.

Global Control System (GCS) Program - Involves the development of a new control system architecture that can be deployed globally across the Otis world. A global component that has been developed as part of this initiative is the Global Elevator Control Board (GECB), which consists of a hardware and software component. This is a computing platform that forms the basis for GCS architecture.
REM Machine Room Hardware (RMH) - ISRC is acquiring knowledge on RMH, which is a data acquisition and reporting system designed to provide monitoring and analysis of elevator systems. The RMH is installed in the elevator machine room and interfaces to the elevator system from this location. The data acquired by the RMH is processed and sent to an offsite network management system (NMS).
More ambitious domains like CAN Communication, VoIP, Hoistway simulation etc. to facilitate faster development & addition of newer features in the universally deployed Elevator Control & Monitoring systems.
