Financial Systems
At ISRC, FINANCIAL SYSTEMS Team is the offshore wing of UTC’s COE (Center of Excellence) providing Functional & basic Technical Support for various Financial Tools / Applications. It caters to nearly 4000+ users across the globe covering all Business Units of UTC group. (Carrier, OTIS, Hamilton Sundstrand, Fire & Security, Pratt & Whitney, UTC Power, Sikorsky & UTRC)
This team has been providing Quality and Timely Services to all UTC customers and is operating at ACE GOLD level.
The Major functions performed are support, development, implementation and training. There are 4 TOWERS comprising of 24 applications (as depicted below) which are supported through HPQC helpdesk Tool.
Following major application are supported from Offshore at ISRC:
- HFM - Hyperion Financial Management – Sys9 (Including FDM & DRM)
Hyperion is a Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Performance Management (BPM) Tool. Hyperion Financial Management is a comprehensive, Web-based application that delivers global financial consolidation, reporting and analysis in a single, highly scalable software solution.
- SOXA & BCRS
The Sarbanes-Oxley Act applies to public companies in the US and those serving the companies, such as audit committees, auditors and attorneys. It also affects foreign firms with secondary listings on the New York Stock Exchange.
SOXA is a software tool which is used to accelerate compliance of SOX Act
BCRS is a reporting system which generates reports useful for WHQ, Area offices and the managers to check the progress of work done in SOXA.
- ARMS - Accounts Reconciliation Management System
ARMS is a product of Blackline Systems, which replaces spreadsheet processes. ARMS project started in Q4 of 2008. Currently, there are 392 entities & 1135 users live on ARMS. These users are mostly based in US and the plan is to bring maximum non-US entities on board.
- CORPTAX –Corporate Taxation: The Team is also working on Long View tool for implementing Tax Provision Project in various Business Units.
